About the Role
Micro1 is seeking experienced Claude Cowork Users to contribute to an exciting AI research project focused on improving the next generation of AI coding agents used in real-world STEM environments.
This is a unique remote contract opportunity for professionals who actively use AI-powered coding tools in their daily work. Your expertise and real-world experience will help shape how AI models reason, solve technical challenges, and support developers in complex engineering workflows.
No prior AI research experience is required—your practical experience using AI coding assistants is what matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit detailed examples of real-world technical challenges where AI coding agents improved your workflow.
- Explain your problem-solving process and how AI tools supported coding, debugging, architectural decisions, or software development tasks.
- Participate in research sessions and evaluations designed to measure the effectiveness of AI coding agents.
- Share honest feedback on AI coding tools, including their strengths, limitations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with project teams to enhance AI-assisted workflows and improve technical accuracy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a STEM-related field.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants beyond simple code generation or autocomplete.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical workflows and decision-making processes.
- Experience working with large codebases, debugging applications, or designing software architecture.
- Comfortable solving complex technical problems using AI-assisted development tools.
- Passion for helping improve the future of AI-powered software development.
