About the Role

Micro1 is seeking experienced Claude Code Users to contribute to an exciting AI research project focused on improving the capabilities of next-generation AI coding agents.

In this contract role, you’ll leverage your real-world experience using AI coding assistants to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems. Rather than building software for customers, you’ll share practical workflows, technical insights, and expert feedback that will shape the future of AI-powered software development.

No previous AI industry experience is required—your hands-on expertise using AI coding tools in professional STEM or software engineering environments is what matters most.

Key Responsibilities

• Document how you use AI coding assistants to solve complex software engineering challenges.
• Share real-world workflows involving AI-assisted coding, debugging, architectural design, and codebase navigation.
• Explain step-by-step approaches to developing features, resolving technical issues, and handling ambiguous engineering tasks with AI support.
• Evaluate the strengths, limitations, and practical performance of AI coding agents across different scenarios.
• Provide written and verbal feedback to improve AI models and developer tools.
• Participate in interviews, surveys, and knowledge-sharing sessions focused on AI-assisted software development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a STEM or technical field.
• Extensive hands-on experience using AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow.
• Ability to clearly explain technical processes, workflows, and engineering decisions.
• Experience using AI tools for advanced software engineering tasks beyond simple code generation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with modern AI coding platforms and industry best practices.
