About the Role

BruntWork is seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Operations Coordinator to support and streamline internal operations within a growing construction business. This role starts as part-time with a strong opportunity to transition into a full-time position.

As the company’s first dedicated administrative hire, you will play a key role in building efficient systems, improving workflows, and supporting contractor compliance processes.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Melbourne Time)
  • 20 hours per week
  • Remote / Work From Home

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage invoices, quotations, and payment schedules
  • Maintain organized document management systems using Dropbox
  • Track workflows and project milestones through Asana
  • Coordinate contractor onboarding, agreements, and documentation
  • Prepare and maintain SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements)
  • Manage JSA (Job Safety Analysis) forms and compliance requirements
  • Review contractor compliance and ensure appropriate protections are in place
  • Track contractor insurance documentation, including:
    • Public Liability Insurance
    • Workers’ Compensation
    • Trade-related insurance coverage
  • Support operational improvements and internal process development

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administration or operations support
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Experience using Xero, Dropbox, and Asana is highly preferred
  • Basic understanding of construction industry compliance and safety processes
  • Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
