Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Associate to manage carrier data, support customers, and ensure the accuracy of freight rate information. This role combines data entry, customer support, and operational coordination in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update carrier rate data with high accuracy
  • Interpret and process rate sheets (tariffs) into internal systems
  • Provide customer support via email, phone, and live chat
  • Ensure a high-quality customer experience by resolving inquiries efficiently
  • Collaborate with internal teams and escalate issues when necessary
  • Prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively in a dynamic environment

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Typing speed of 45+ WPM (with strong accuracy)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Fluent English required)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote setting
  • Professional phone presence and customer handling skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service or data entry (1+ year preferred)
  • Background in freight, logistics, transportation, or supply chain
  • Additional language skills (Spanish is a plus)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $15–$18 per hour (DOE)

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday (8 hours/day)
  • Initial schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CST (first 90 days)
  • Flexible scheduling available post-probation
