About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven E-commerce Manager to lead and optimize our client’s online retail operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong experience in Shopify, digital merchandising, and conversion rate optimization.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day e-commerce activities, enhancing the customer journey, and driving revenue growth through data-driven strategies. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to manage remote contributors effectively.

Key Responsibilities

E-commerce Operations & Website Management

  • Oversee daily website operations, including product launches, updates, and promotional campaigns
  • Maintain product catalogs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and optimal site performance

Website Merchandising & Optimization

  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies to increase conversions and revenue
  • Utilize tools such as Fast Simon, Bloomreach, or Searchspring for search optimization and personalization

UX/UI & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Improve user experience through A/B testing, customer insights, and behavioral analysis
  • Leverage tools like Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity to identify optimization opportunities

Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics
  • Translate data insights into actionable improvements that enhance user engagement and sales

Team & Project Management

  • Manage and coordinate a remote team of content and web specialists
  • Ensure timely execution of projects while maintaining organized workflows and priorities

Technical & SEO Collaboration

  • Implement and maintain SEO best practices
  • Partner with technical teams to improve site speed, structure, and overall performance

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in e-commerce management or a related role
  • Demonstrated success in driving online sales and improving conversion rates
  • Strong hands-on experience with Shopify

Skills

  • Proficiency in merchandising and personalization tools (Fast Simon, Bloomreach, Searchspring)
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and e-commerce best practices
  • Experience with Google Analytics and data-driven optimization
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and SEO
  • Familiarity with Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar tools
  • Experience with Klaviyo or other email marketing platforms is a plus
