Financial Systems Expert at micro1

ABOUT THE ROLE

Micro1 is seeking experienced Financial Systems & Accounting Experts for a customer project focused on accounting operations and financial systems.

You will use your accounting expertise, financial systems knowledge, and experience with AI human-data projects to evaluate and improve next-generation AI systems. No prior AI development experience is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, including calculations, journal entries, accounting treatments, and explanations.

• Review and annotate financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close workpapers.

• Identify accounting errors and provide accurate treatments with clear reasoning.

• Assess accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365.

• Apply written rubrics and grading guidelines to evaluate AI-generated responses.

• Identify and flag ambiguous or technically complex cases.

• Develop realistic accounting scenarios and reference answers based on practical industry experience.

• Provide clear written feedback to project and model teams.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting, corporate accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management accounting, cost accounting, or FP&A with substantial accounting responsibilities.

• Experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.

• Hands-on experience with financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday, or similar platforms.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Prior paid experience supporting AI training through data annotation, data labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric-based grading.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with B2 level or above.

• Reliable internet connection.

• Immediate availability.

• Previous verified participation in Micro1 projects is an advantage.

IMPORTANT PROJECT REQUIREMENT

Prior paid experience in human-data activities for AI training is mandatory. Experience with AI-enabled features inside accounting software alone does not meet this requirement.
