Full-Stack Software Engineer at Veta Virtual

About the Role

Veta Virtual is recruiting on behalf of a leading fintech company seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a digital currency platform that enables customers to buy, sell, and manage cryptocurrency through consumer applications, enterprise products, and self-service kiosks. You’ll contribute to mission-critical systems supporting financial transactions in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications.
• Build and enhance backend services and RESTful APIs supporting authentication, onboarding, transactions, and operational workflows.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Integrate applications with third-party platforms and external services.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0.
• Build scalable backend solutions within a microservices architecture.
• Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and monitoring.
• Participate in technical design sessions, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer.
• Strong backend development experience using Golang and/or Java.
• Solid knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript (v5).
• Experience building frontend applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API development.
• Proficiency with SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience working with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
