Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Director / HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Core Business Unit. This role partners closely with leadership and global teams to drive people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive organizational effectiveness by aligning talent strategy with business goals and financial targets
  • Lead workforce planning and staffing to ensure optimal team structure and performance
  • Enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace experience
  • Implement and oversee HR processes across the employee lifecycle (hiring, onboarding, development, performance, succession, and offboarding)
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations
  • Monitor and improve HR service satisfaction among managers and employees
  • Track and manage key HR metrics including payroll, turnover, engagement, and productivity
  • Partner with founders and C-level stakeholders to support strategic decision-making

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Director
  • Experience in investment environments, portfolio companies, or multi-entity structures
  • Strong exposure to working with founders and senior executives
  • Solid understanding of startup growth stages and basic cap table concepts
  • Proven expertise in HR analytics, compensation & benefits, and performance management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple business units or teams
  • Strong project management and execution skills
  • Data-driven, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Fluency in English and Russian (required)
