Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Director / HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Core Business Unit. This role partners closely with leadership and global teams to drive people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive organizational effectiveness by aligning talent strategy with business goals and financial targets
- Lead workforce planning and staffing to ensure optimal team structure and performance
- Enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace experience
- Implement and oversee HR processes across the employee lifecycle (hiring, onboarding, development, performance, succession, and offboarding)
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations
- Monitor and improve HR service satisfaction among managers and employees
- Track and manage key HR metrics including payroll, turnover, engagement, and productivity
- Partner with founders and C-level stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Director
- Experience in investment environments, portfolio companies, or multi-entity structures
- Strong exposure to working with founders and senior executives
- Solid understanding of startup growth stages and basic cap table concepts
- Proven expertise in HR analytics, compensation & benefits, and performance management
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple business units or teams
- Strong project management and execution skills
- Data-driven, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
- Fluency in English and Russian (required)
