About the Role
SaaS.group is seeking a highly skilled and self-driven IT Operations Specialist to take full ownership of internal IT operations across a globally distributed team of 380+ employees. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role where you will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT support, improving operational efficiency, and driving automation across systems and workflows.
This role goes beyond traditional helpdesk support. You’ll play a critical role in optimizing processes, reducing manual work through automation, and enhancing the overall IT experience for employees across multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely, effective, and empathetic IT support to remote team members across various regions.
- Manage and resolve IT support tickets, ensuring consistent and fast turnaround times.
- Administer and maintain core SaaS tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Asana, Trelica).
- Oversee the full employee IT lifecycle, including onboarding, access provisioning, and offboarding.
- Identify repetitive processes and implement automation solutions using scripting, APIs, or tools like n8n.
- Standardize and optimize onboarding/offboarding workflows to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems for secure device provisioning and tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to manage software tools and renewals.
- Maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and automations to ensure knowledge sharing.
Key Deliverables (First 3–6 Months)
- Establish an efficient IT support system with fast and reliable ticket resolution.
- Automate at least three high-volume, repetitive IT processes.
- Streamline onboarding and offboarding workflows for a seamless employee experience.
- Become a trusted IT partner across multiple brands within the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in IT support or IT operations, preferably in a remote or fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on administrative experience with SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, or similar tools.
- Strong inclination toward automation and process optimization.
- Basic scripting skills and familiarity with APIs, integrations, and webhooks.
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve workflows and efficiency.
- Excellent written communication skills with a strong focus on remote, async collaboration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and high accountability.
