About the Role

BruntWork is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Landscaping Operations Assistant to support a fast-growing property services franchise. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support—you will work closely with the business owner to streamline operations, implement scalable systems, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic “one-stop-shop” service business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in business systematization (Systemology) while managing key operational processes in a rapidly expanding company.

Client Overview

Our client is a Melbourne-based landscaping and home services franchise offering a wide range of property maintenance solutions, including garden care, gutter cleaning, solar panel servicing, and general handyman services. The company is currently scaling and building structured systems to support long-term growth and operational independence.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (AEST)
  • 1-hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support systemization efforts
  • Manage and organize email communications using AI-powered tools
  • Prepare invoices and generate service quotes across multiple offerings
  • Assist in transitioning operations from TraderFi to Fergus CRM
  • Coordinate schedules and service delivery with subcontractors (e.g., electricians, plumbers, arborists)
  • Support business growth initiatives and system implementation strategies
  • Perform general administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
  • Experience using CRM platforms (or ability to quickly learn Fergus CRM)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proficiency in email management and basic invoicing tools
  • Strong interest in business systems, process improvement, and scaling operations
  • Previous experience in service-based or trades-related industries is an advantage
