We are seeking a Major Account Manager (Financial Services Industry – West Africa) to drive strategic customer engagement and revenue growth across key enterprise accounts. This is a high-impact, consultative sales role focused on helping financial institutions strengthen their security posture through best-in-class cybersecurity solutions.

Role Overview

As a Major Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing territory strategy, managing complex enterprise sales cycles, and building long-term relationships with customers and partners across the FSI sector in West Africa. You will act as a trusted advisor, aligning customer needs with Palo Alto Networks’ full cybersecurity portfolio.

This role is remote within Nigeria, with collaboration across regional and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large, complex enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through closure
  • Build and execute strategic account and territory plans to drive revenue growth
  • Identify customer business challenges and deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions
  • Develop strong relationships with enterprise clients and channel partners
  • Position Palo Alto Networks’ platform and zero-trust security solutions effectively in competitive environments
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging security challenges
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, channel, and marketing teams to support customer success
  • Travel within the region as required

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in enterprise or strategic account management, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, networking, or enterprise IT
  • Strong track record of selling complex, value-based solutions to large organizations
  • Deep understanding of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies
  • Ability to analyze business problems, interpret data, and propose scalable solutions
  • Experience working with channel partners in a multi-stakeholder sales environment
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end enterprise sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-driven with strong organizational and time management abilities
