Narrative Supervisor at African Alliance Group

African Alliance Group

About African Alliance Group

African Alliance Group drives Africa’s growth through strategic investments across mining, construction, hydrogen energy, and transportation. We are currently developing a creative, multi-channel narrative project centered around an anonymous high-end artist, designed to build a consistent, credible presence across global media platforms.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Narrative Supervisor to lead the creation, coordination, and quality control of a distributed storytelling system.

In this role, you will oversee a small team of writers and content creators (3–4 part-time contributors), ensuring all content aligns with a unified narrative framework while maintaining consistency across all external publications.

You will act as the central editor, coordinator, and quality gatekeeper—ensuring smooth execution from content planning to publication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a Narrative Bible defining core truths and boundaries of the artist’s story
  • Assign clear, structured content briefs to writers and creators
  • Edit and review all submitted content for tone, accuracy, and narrative consistency
  • Manage the full content publication pipeline (tracking submissions, approvals, and placements)
  • Coordinate weekly check-ins with writers (15–20 minutes per session)
  • Ensure consistent output of high-quality content across articles, reviews, opinion pieces, and social media content
  • Identify and research new publication opportunities
  • Maintain a structured content calendar and tracking system
  • Report weekly progress, challenges, and publication results to the project lead
  • Contribute original written content when required

What Success Looks Like

  • Writers consistently deliver high-quality, on-brief content
  • No contradictions or inconsistencies across published materials

  • Smooth workflow requiring minimal oversight from leadership
  • Efficient management of all content pipelines and contributors
