Role Overview

We are seeking a Research Analyst who can transform complex datasets into compelling narratives and actionable insights. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical skills with storytelling ability—someone who doesn’t just analyze data but translates it into impactful research that influences business decisions and industry conversations.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Analysis (40%)

  • Design and execute original research studies (surveys, data collection, sampling strategies)
  • Analyze large datasets using Python, R, or similar tools
  • Identify key trends and translate findings into meaningful insights
  • Develop compelling narratives that align with business objectives

Data Visualization & Reporting (25%)

  • Create clear, engaging data visualizations for non-technical audiences
  • Build and maintain dashboards using tools like GA4 and Looker
  • Present findings in accessible, shareable formats

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement (20%)

  • Partner with SEO, content, and client teams to define research objectives
  • Present insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with partners and industry influencers on research initiatives

Research Innovation (15%)

  • Explore new tools, methodologies, and data sources (including AI-related research)
  • Develop scalable research frameworks
  • Contribute to building industry-leading research standards

Requirements

Must-Have

  • Proven experience designing and executing original research studies
  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to craft data-driven narratives
  • Advanced quantitative analysis skills and experience handling large datasets
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or similar tools
  • Experience creating effective data visualizations
  • Ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with GA4, Looker, or Search Console
  • Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, or B2B SaaS
  • Published research with media or industry recognition
  • Knowledge of NLP, LLMs, or AI-driven tools
  • Background in journalism, academic research, or similar
