Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Staff Data Scientist to lead data-driven growth initiatives across the customer lifecycle. This role focuses on transforming complex data into actionable insights that power cross-sell and upsell strategies, optimize the customer journey, and accelerate revenue growth.

You will work at the intersection of data science, business strategy, and product innovation—building intelligent systems that directly influence go-to-market (GTM) success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business goals into a strategic data science roadmap focused on high customer lifetime value (LTV) growth
  • Analyze the self-service funnel and sales conversion journey to uncover optimization opportunities
  • Build machine learning models and data products to identify revenue-driving signals
  • Develop recommendation engines to enable “next-best-action” for sales and marketing teams
  • Design frameworks to measure true incremental impact and ROI of data initiatives
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance to deliver actionable insights
  • Leverage machine learning and generative AI to support product-led growth (PLG) strategies
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to build scalable data pipelines and architecture
  • Integrate data products into business workflows (CRM, dashboards, collaboration tools)
  • Communicate findings through dashboards, reports, and executive presentations

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning, ideally in a growth or GTM environment
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in applied statistics, experimentation, or A/B testing
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R, and SQL
  • Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Proven experience deploying models into production and building scalable pipelines (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Spark)
  • Experience applying Generative AI in business or product contexts
  • Solid understanding of GTM metrics such as CAC, LTV, ARR, ARPU, and pipeline conversion
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science)
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • Experience in SaaS, consulting, or tech-driven environments
