Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Strategic Business Research Analyst to serve as a trusted partner to an innovative leader driving the future of education and business ventures. This is not a routine support role—it is a high-impact position where your insights will directly influence strategic decisions, partnerships, and growth initiatives.
You will operate at the intersection of academic research and commercial strategy, transforming complex information into clear, actionable intelligence that fuels expansion across multiple ventures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research across academic disciplines and business sectors to uncover emerging trends, opportunities, and risks
- Identify and evaluate potential institutional partners and strategic collaborators
- Develop high-quality executive communications, including emails and partnership outreach
- Synthesize complex data into concise reports and strategic recommendations
- Support multiple ventures with tailored research and insight generation
- Manage and optimize executive email workflows and communication systems
- Coordinate and execute research initiatives across diverse business streams
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business research, analysis, or a related role
- Exceptional written English with strong business communication skills
- Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and synthesize complex information
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Experience supporting executives, founders, or multi-venture environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Nice to Have:
- Background or exposure to the education sector or academic research
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Australian Eastern Time)
- 1-hour unpaid break
