Role Overview
We are seeking a Strategic Data & Operations Lead to support a dedicated global technology client. This role sits at the intersection of data, systems, and business strategy, translating complex datasets into actionable insights that drive operational excellence.
You will act as a key partner to stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy, building scalable systems, and delivering compelling data visualisations that inform decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Present insights and recommendations in a clear, actionable manner
Data Management & Integrity
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and governance
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies at the source
Systems & Automation
- Design and manage low-code solutions (e.g., AppSheet)
- Build and optimise automated workflows within Google Sheets ecosystems
Data Visualisation & Reporting
- Develop executive-level dashboards using Looker Studio
- Ensure clarity, accessibility, and strong storytelling through data
AI & Process Optimisation
- Leverage Generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini) to enhance workflows
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains
Data Culture & Governance
- Promote a data-driven mindset across teams
- Uphold privacy, security, and ethical data practices
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Advanced expertise in Google Sheets (functions, pivots, validation)
- Strong experience with Looker Studio dashboard development
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into insights
Desirable
- Experience with Generative AI / LLM tools
- Knowledge of programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
- Experience with AppSheet or Google Apps Script
- Background in automation, data cleaning, or statistical analysis
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (UK time)
(Aligned with 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST)
