You will work across Ethereum and emerging ecosystems, contributing to the security of cutting-edge decentralized applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth security audits of cryptographic protocols, primitives, and zero-knowledge systems
- Evaluate correctness, soundness, and potential vulnerabilities in zkDSL circuits and zkVM programs
- Review production-level code within Ethereum and ZK ecosystems to identify and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance blockchain security tools and frameworks
- Design and develop new tools for auditing cryptographic and ZK systems
- Stay current with evolving ZK technologies, proof systems, and emerging threat vectors
- Communicate audit findings clearly to clients and provide actionable remediation recommendations
- Contribute to internal research, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in cryptography, ZK systems, or related security auditing
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong foundation in cryptography, including both theory and practical implementation
- Proficiency in Rust (experience auditing Rust codebases is highly desirable)
- Hands-on experience with at least one ZK proof system (e.g., Groth16, PLONK, Halo2, Bulletproofs)
- Familiarity with zkDSL tools (e.g., Circom, Noir, Cairo, Halo2)
- Understanding of zkVM architectures and proof pipelines
- Ability to identify cryptographic vulnerabilities and security flaws
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Background in traditional cybersecurity prior to blockchain
- Experience with advanced cryptographic concepts (e.g., threshold signatures, FHE, anonymous credentials)
- Familiarity with ZK rollups or Layer 2 ecosystems (e.g., Aztec)
- Published audit reports, technical blogs, or security research
- Experience in client-facing or consulting roles
What We Offer
- Fully remote, flexible work environment
- Opportunity to work with a global, diverse team
- Exposure to cutting-edge blockchain and cryptography projects
